Thirty-Two Winds is an instrument for orientation and contemplation, built on exact geometry and on three long traditions of symbolic thought. It offers structure for reflection. It does not offer authority over your life. This page states plainly what the instrument is and what it is not, in keeping with the discipline the rest of the site observes: say what is forced, declare what is chosen, and confuse neither with counsel.
The deck predicts nothing; the reader brings the meaning. Nothing on this site forecasts the future, reveals fate, or guarantees any outcome. A reading describes a pattern worth contemplating. What happens next remains entirely in your hands.

The geometry beneath this site is exact and forced. The maps laid upon it are not. The assignment of archetypes, hexagrams, alchemical phases, and personality types to the frame is interpretive: chosen, declared, and openly arguable. Another cartographer could draw the maps differently. These correspondences are offered as lenses, not as facts of nature, and nothing in a reading should be taken as a statement of fact about you.
